"We send our children to Christ the King School because we like that our values and model of discipline are shared by the teachers and staff. It warms our hearts to see our kids participate in school mass and when they come home with a story about how the school came together in prayer. Christ the King is unique with its small and diverse community. Having the age range we have in a daycare - 8th grade environment creates an opportunity for leaders and disciples to thrive. Parents send their children to Christ the King for a different experience, and they become invested in their student's education and faith life" -- CKS Parent
“What I love about Christ the King is the sense of community between the students, parents, teachers, and parishioners. As a Christ the King alumni myself, I’m happy I was able to send my children to Christ the King. Over the years I’ve had to opportunity to meet a lot of great people, and share experiences through many school and parish activities. I’m excited for the school to continue to welcome new members, grow and change while we build on the great foundation that is Christ the King School.” -- CKS Parent
"Our family found Christ the King in the summer of 2017 when we enrolled our boys in the daycare and kids club programs. As we learned more about the educational program offered by CKS, we decided to enroll our oldest in kindergarten in the fall of 2017. In the spring of 2018, my husband Ryan was diagnosed with brain cancer. That day we went to the parish office and made our membership to the church official. Father P.J. has been by our side through the entire journey, and both the parish and school have rallied behind our family in a way we never could have even hoped for. Since joining, we’ve become active in the church and school, and have formed so many new relationships and bonds with the people we have met. In the summer of 2019, our boys chose to be baptized into the Catholic Church. With Christ the King, we feel at home. I believe that everything happens for a reason, that God intended for us to find Christ the King when we needed a church family the most, and we couldn’t be more grateful." -- CKS Parent
"All three of our children attended and graduated from Christ the King School. As in most families, each one has different interests, learning styles, needs and personalities. The faculty and staff went above and beyond to meet my children where they were at, and challenged them to grow spiritually, academically and socially. Students are challenged and invited to live their faith everyday in the way they interact with others-with kindness, consideration and integrity. The education our children received at Christ the King is priceless!" -- CKS Parent
Christ the King School has been providing quality, Catholic education for over 50 years. And things have never been better than right now. These are exciting times for Christ the King. We have just completed a major renovation of our school facilities, providing a more modern, secure and accessible facility to our students and their families.

Every classroom is equipped with new laptop computers. An excellent teacher to student ratio ensures each student receives a personalized, quality education that remains faith-based.
The religious formation of children is the primary reason for the existence of Catholic schools. Thus, Christ the King School’s religious education program is of special curricular importance. Scripture, doctrine, prayer, and liturgy are related to children at their developmental level, beginning with their own experiences. Prayer is an important part of the day. It begins and ends each day, lunchtime and is experienced daily in religion class.
All children have the opportunity to celebrate liturgy together at least once a week. Mass is scheduled for Thursday at 8:40 AM. Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to attend school liturgies. Throughout the year students have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation during the school day. Special service opportunities, renewal days and seasonal activities are shared throughout the year, as well.
This program is designed to teach the proper writing standards needed to help our students be successful. We felt as a team we needed a supplement to our Journeys and our team researched different programs and felt this was the best fit for our students at CKS. We are implementing this program to our 2-5 grade students. Here is the link if you would like more information on Write Steps: http://www.writestepswriting.com/
