Christ the King Daycare Director

My name is Melanie Handy, and I am the Director at Christ the King Daycare, Kids Club and Enrichment Preschool.

I was a preschool teacher at a center for 8 years before coming to Christ The King, and managed my own in-home daycare for 10 years prior to that. I grew up in Des Moines, but moved to Norwalk in 2020, where I currently reside with my two pretty awesome daughters and our two cats. We love to spend as much time together as we can, mostly exercising at the gym, cooking, and sometimes just snuggled up on the couch watching movies. In my free time I like to play pool or put together puzzles.

I began working at Christ The King in August of this year. I take pride in the passion I have in helping children learn and grow. I look forward to working with and getting to know each of the children and their families.
