Mr. Charles “Chuckie” Geilenfeld – Principal

Matthew Kelly writes, “The sole purpose of education is to help others become the best version of themselves.” My leadership philosophy is to create an atmosphere where students can become the best version of themselves by learning the skills needed to ultimately be a positive influence in their communities.

As a Leader in Me School, we teach to be effective, we need to win both the private and public victories moving our students from dependence to independence.  Learning to develop self-mastery and achieve our most important goals through habits 1, 2, and 3.

The public victory moves us from independence to interdependence.  This is our capacity to develop meaningful relationships and work well with others and comes through teaching habits 4, 5, and 6.

Through faith-based education we are building Leaders for Life, Centered on Christ.

Becky Beneke – Assistant Principal

Ms. Colosimo – Office Manager

My name is Renee Colosimo and I am the secretary for Christ the King School. I have been a member of Christ the King parish for 9 years. I attended St. Peters Elementary and St. Joseph Academy in Des Moines, IA. I have 2 grown children and 3 grandsons. The eldest is a 2010 graduate of Christ the King School and is going on to Dowling.

Education at Christ the King is such a wonderful blend of academics and spirituality and it shows in the children. I have indeed been fortunate to work with such a wonderful staff.

I also cannot say enough about our school parents. They make sacrifices so their children can have a Catholic education.

Mrs. Barsetti – Lunchroom Director
