Leadership Council

The Leadership Council at Christ the King School is a group of parent volunteers who strive to enrich our students' Catholic education by supporting our teachers and engaging our school and parish communities.

Our Academic, Faith, Social and Fundraising committees provide opportunities for fellowship and faith formation while raising funds for the betterment of our school.

Our success relies heavily on your involvement! We ask that you prayerfully consider the ways you will be involved this school year.

Oh, St. John Paul, from the window of heaven, grant us your blessing! Bless the Church that you loved and served and guided, courageously leading her along the paths of the world in order to bring Jesus to everyone and everyone to Jesus. Bless the young, who were your great passion. Help them dream again, help them look up to the heavens again to find the light that illuminates the paths of life here on earth.

May you bless each and every family! You warned of Satan’s assault against this precious and indispensable divine spark that God lit on earth. St. John Paul, with your prayer, may you protect the family and every life that blossoms from the family.

Pray for the whole world, which is still marked by tensions, wars and injustice. You opposed war by invoking dialogue and planting the seeds of love: pray for us so that we may be tireless sowers of peace.

Oh St. John Paul, from heaven’s window, where we see you beside Mary, send God’s blessing down upon us all. Amen.

All meetings start at 6:00pm in the Parish Offices and are on the first Tuesday of the Month (unless noted).  

The first hour of the meeting is a Committee working session for planning of various events.  The second hour of the meeting is the Business Meeting.

All CKS Parents are invited to attend meetings.

The Leadership Council serves in an advisory and support capacity to the Pastor and the principal of the school.  The Leadership Council also advises in developing policies that govern our school, religious education, and adult faith formation programs.

In addition to the advisory and support of our school, the Leadership Council also sponsors various events throught out the year to support our Christ the King School and Parish community.

All parents of Christ the King School students are considered members of the CKS Leadership Council.  The CKS Leadership Council Board is made up of elected parishioners/school parents, along with the Pastor, school administrators and teacher representatives.

Board member elections are conducted in June each year.
